Author Biography

Kristen Jensen is a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA), University Professor, author of an exam preparation study guide, serves as a supervisor to BCBA candidates, with experience in the schools, home, clinic and hospital settings. Kristen graduated from California State University, Fullerton and started her career as a High School Science teacher at a school specializing in properly educating students on the autism spectrum, individuals with emotional and behavioral difficulties, anxiety disorders and mental illness. Kristen went on to obtain her Master of Science in Special Education and completed her coursework and practicum to sit for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst exam. In 2013, Kristen became a BCBA. Kristen has worked in home, using applied behavior analysis strategies, trained parents and support staff in applied behavior analysis procedures, run process groups, family therapy sessions, prepared behavior intervention plans, assisted in Individualized Education Program (IEP) preparation and has facilitated social skills groups. Kristen has worked with children from the age of 18 months to adult.
