Product Description

by Rodney Schroeter (Author), Norman F. Pettingill (Illustrator)

The main article of this book, first published in Comic Art #3 (2003), is based on the author's recorded interviews with Wisconsin cartoonist Norman F. Pettingill. The article with additional material was published in 2013 as an e-book available only through Barnes & Noble. This new edition is a further expansion of the previous versions. Pettingill drew and published large comic postcards. With his wife Louise, he drove through the wilds of northern Wisconsin and surrounding environs, selling these postcards to shops. He also sold them through the mail.
