The idea of formulating Fast Dissolving Tablets of Febuxostat is to provide an acceptable and practical approach for the objectives of faster disintegrating and dissolution characteristics. In the current work Fast Dissolving Tablets of Febuxostat were prepared by sublimation technique after preparing solid dispersion of Febuxostat in which co- precipitation gives high solubility in ratio of 1:0.5:1.2 (Drug: PEG 6000: Mannitol), using sodium starch glycolate, croscarmellose sodium, kyron T -134 and kyron T-314. All the Fast Dissolving Tablets of Febuxostat were subjected to thickness, diameter, hardness, friability, weight variation, disintegration time, wetting time, water absorption ratio and drug content uniformity.
