Bryna, now his wife in more than name, for the first time, shares the adventure.No longer the distressed damsel, she is a participant in her own right who undertakes a perilous investigation on the campus of LSU.Though the action begins with Jeff and Rita in New York and winds through New Orleans where Jeff and his friends seek information in an excursion that delves into a Bourbon Street crawl where Bryna and a "Loretta," a Cupcake performer, go places unlike any Jeff has before . Besides being a character study of Jeff, Bryna, and their friends, the action moves in its climax from New Orlean to the Mississippi River and the swamps of Jefferson Parish where more than Jeff's life is at stake.
