Author Biography
Crystal is a blogger (littlemisssunshynee.org) as well as the author of this book. Her purpose is empowering, encouraging, and motivating women and girls who deal with abuse, insecurities, depression, relationship issues, thoughts of suicide, and all sorts of illnesses. Sunshine is a nickname that some of the people in her life have called her because of her bubbly and silly personality. While sitting on the beach one night, she came up with the idea to give blogging another chance. Not knowing where it would take her, she wrote many random posts. Her audience grew as she bravely shared her personal life. She has connected with many people who have reached out to her through her blog. Gradually, the Lord told her to take her writing to the next step and this is how A Sense of Hope was birthed. She won't stop there as she has already thought about ideas for more books. Currently, she is in the hospitality industry. She is the oldest of four, although she is mistaken for the youngest by others. She calls herself a crazy animal lover and has rescued many animals throughout her life, including her cats. She used to volunteer at her local animal shelter for leisure. Now she helps out her community, serves at her church, and is a part of their connect groups. In her past, Crystal has been in front and behind the camera for movie and television sets. She used to perform and compete in theatrical competitions, performed at events, and has done some modeling in her past. She realized that was not the lifestyle for her. Now she is using her gifts for God's glory.
