Product Description

by Jianjun Chen (Author)

Growing up in Mao's China, Dr. JianJun Chen experienced the upheaval of the Cultural Revolution firsthand. Later, in New York, he unknowingly worked alongside the notorious serial killer Dr. Michael Swango. These experiences shaped his understanding of human nature and the power of faith in transforming lives.

In A Physician's Memoir: Growing Up in Mao's China, Dr. Chen shares a deeply personal journey of survival, education, and hope. Through the eyes of a child who refused to surrender to despair, this memoir offers a rare glimpse into history.

A story of perseverance, faith, and the pursuit of a better future.

"I highly recommend reading Dr. Chen's memoir, which provides a fascinating account of his journey." -Rev. James Yang

"This book is a powerful testament to history. It bears witness to the suffering of the Chinese people and, more importantly, to God's boundless mercy and love." -Rev. Tony Wen, Founding Pastor of Fresh Wind Chinese Church of San Diego

Dr. JianJun Chen, a gastroenterologist, grew up in China during the Cultural Revolution.
