Author Biography

ILLUSTRATOR

Bai Hua is a Shanghai illustrator. Her love of art dates back to when she was three years old. At the time, she practiced figure painting on every surface she could reach. From that early experience, Bai Hua continued to experiment with drawing, photography, and handmade objects. She especially enjoyed combining them with a growing love for travel.

Though Bai Hua did not expect to do much with her enjoyment of art in any formal way, experience happily proved her wrong, such that she found herself enrolled in an animation and graphic design program at Shanghai University. Since graduation, she has continued to experiment with painting - most especially in using watercolor to record life around her as she sees it, and drawing to make a record of her travels.
