Author Biography

Born in Portsmouth, Hampshire in 1945, now-retired Civil Servant Trevor Smith wrote many articles for several specialist film magazines in the 1970s and 1980s. Now a freelance writer/researcher whose enthusiasm is matched only by his broad knowledge of vintage British Cinema, especially the silent era, Trevor also has his own website smiffart.co.uk and a vintage film channel on YouTube called yesterdayscinema.
