Product Description

by Frank McClure (Author)

I am Frank McClure, born October 25, 1944, in York County, South Carolina, during the Jim Crow era. I was eleventh of the fourteen children of Paul and Cornelius McClure. As I look back over my life, I now awaken every morning with a victorious mentality. My thinking perspective and attitude toward others is filled with love which has changed my attitude and the way I respond to others and situations. I have been transformed with a new mindset, and it gives me a new look at life and love for all mankind. T he new mentality inspires me to be positive and focused on teamwork. The transformation of my mind has influenced how I handle situations. As I encounter situations now, I've learned that a winning mindset is needed to prepare properly.

I look at being a victorious warrior in the context of winning and also as a former athlete. I have been seasoned with travel opportunities to observe many professional teams. The Golden State Warriors Basketball Team stands out. This team is the epitome of what it means to have a victor's mentality; they go beyond simply winning games and championships. The Golden State Warriors embody a specific approach called teamwork. I like the fact that when an individual with a victor's mentality suffers a loss, they don't see it as the end, but as an opportunity for bigger victories. Unfortunately, I didn't have that type of mindset years ago. I lost many opportunities to better myself and family. I remember losing my job at CDA Textile in 1964, while my wife was pregnant. Deacon Thomas Garvin wrote me a letter of encouragement filled with great advice. That advice helped get me back on track. During that time, I needed much encouragement, and the letter helped to make sure that I never strayed too far from my path. (Isaiah 42:10-13)
