Threat Exposure Management addresses the limitation of current enterprise risk management frameworks which tend to emphasize known, mathematically estimable risks while side stepping threats arising out manmade crises or self-imposed organizational change initiatives. The basic tenet of this book is that to be truly 'enterprise-wide', a risk management framework needs to amalgamate known risks, unknown threats, and organizational self-transformations into a singular identification, assessment and response methodology.
