Calahan sends a couple of his goons to pick up Tank Tabor for a little talk. Calahan, the town boss, has a proposition for him. If Tank can persuade his brother Bill to drop his investigation of Calahan, they'll let Bill live. Tank is a gambler, and he knows the odds aren't with him, but he's got to try. Bill is too honest for his own good-he's going to bring Calahan down no matter what the threat.
