Product Description

by S. K. Epperson (Author)

Four years ago, Breton "Eaton" Stone lost his little sister inside an abandoned amusement park. He's gone back to look for her every day since. It's how he knows about the Japanese film crew the new owner's brother is sent in to find. It's how he knows about cameras placed around the park, and strange noises every night. He sees lots of people who shouldn't be in the overgrown wasteland and he'd rather none of them were there, because they're only making his task more difficult. Musician Moe Sexton goes willingly to the insect-infested jungle of weeds his famous author sister Sara bought after seeing some photographs online. In the first five minutes he knows she was nuts, figures it has to be sashimi poisoning, prepared by the sushi chef she's been crushing on. The guy looks like a gangbanger to Moe, and he hates the idea of his sister liking anyone he wants to beat the crap out of just on general principles. Camilla Potts didn't take the photos of the park, her son Philo did, but because he has Down Syndrome everyone assumes it was Camilla's work. She feels responsible when the Japanese film crew she met on a message board goes missing. It was because of those photos that they chose this particular park. It's the first thing her ex is going to bitch at her about the next time she sees him, she knows. Special Agent Ernesto Rivera decides he hates his job an hour after entering the park he loved to visit in his childhood. He doesn't remember the clown at the Wurlitzer looking so menacing, or the smell of the spook house being so foul. The good news is, the film crew and the missing sister are going to turn up. The bad news is, that they won't be alone.
