Author Biography

Russian-born chemist Ivan Reshtenkov has won international recognition for his 1998 research on how man-made compounds affect protium, one of the rarest isotopes found in hydrogen. Born in Cheremkhovo, Russia, Reshtenkov studied and completed most of his work in the Institute of Chemical Technology of Russia, Novosibirsk Oblast, before coming to the United States to continue his work. While at Berkeley, California, he met another Russian emigre and fellow chemist, Lozhnaya Istoriya, who later became his wife.
