They are composed of life application instructions based on biblical principles and were initially written for her children and grandchildren. Eventually, Velma found her friends requesting these words of inspiration, so she began to post them on social media. The requests grew to unmanageable numbers and her first book Hidden Treasures in Secret Places was born.
