Builder Gel Mousse #0007
Pink, with the same signature mousse texture that sets this line apart from DNKa's standard Builder Gel — lighter, airier, and noticeably more comfortable to work with over long sessions.
What the mousse texture actually changes: unlike a typical medium-thick builder gel, Mousse feels close to weightless once cured, even on longer extensions. That matters most in a thin layer — near the cuticle and side walls — where the gel needs to stay elastic rather than rigid, especially on softer natural nails.
Cure depth isn't a trade-off here. Even at up to 3mm thickness — the kind of build needed for extra-long, high-apex modeling — polymerization goes all the way through. The finished gel still has the rigidity needed for structure, just packaged in a softer, more forgiving working feel.
Where it fits: reinforcing natural nails, extensions on forms, dual-form work, and correcting or repairing damaged nails. It holds the C-curve without deforming after cure.
Getting it on the nail:
- Light filing to prep the nail plate
- Degrease with DNKa Dehydrator
- Apply DNKa Ultrabond
- Apply a suitable base (Multi or Rubber), cure
- Apply Mousse #0007 in an even layer, building the apex
- Cure at 48W for 120–240 seconds
Mousse shades can be blended with each other for custom tones — a milky shade stays free of yellowing, and transparent stays genuinely clear. Part of DNKa's Builder Gel range, distinct from the standard DNKa Cover Base camouflage line.
