Author description: Abirami Madhavan is an American author - an eight-year-old who writes stories for beginner readers. She draws inspiration from her Indian roots, and her day-to-day experiences. She is an avid swimmer and environmentalist. She has won community awards for her stories, and hopes to keep writing stories about nature, finding yourself, etc. that young kids will enjoy.
