As the dream progresses, the stranger begins to fade away, leaving Scottie with one last sentiment: that she will always be there, listening and watching over her. When Scottie wakes, she shares the story of the beautiful stranger with her mother. Amazed, Scottie's mother tells Scottie of guardian angels, who guide us every day.
