A girl is found dead, and her boyfriend is missing...
FBI Agent Jo Pullinger goes to investigate the death of a local girl, Kenzie Miller, whose body is discovered by the side of the road. Kenzie had gone on a road trip with her boyfriend, Miles Fletcher, who was nowhere to be found. By all accounts, it looks like a crime of passion, one perpetrated by Miles. Jo is soon joined by the FBI's best tracker, Sonny Brandt. Together, they go on a hunt for Miles.
