Product Description

by Anna Hammond (Author)

Moscow, 1991. The Soviet Union has just collapsed, and the youth, coming of age at the crossroads of history, must forge their own identity at a time when the very fabric of society is being torn down. Western influence is rushing in, but will it find a firm foothold? Can the young men and women relate to their parents, to each other, to themselves in a world suddenly without rules? What will that new life look like? Each new generation questions the values of the one before it, and yet, without continuity and heritage, there is no belonging... Different opportunities, different choices, and different paths lay open before them. Some will luck out, some will not.
