Jamie's parents were pillars of the community. They were the perfect couple, with a perfect child. They were involved in the right church, the right charities, the right clubs, and, what others thought of them was very important. When Jamie went off to college, she found that her sheltered life had not prepared her for the activities that some of her friends engaged in, but, without too much hesitation, she became involved in a lifestyle that hardly mirrored the one she'd lived at home. She was shipped off to Amelia, a distant older cousin, who she had never met, to have her baby. Then she met Guy, a handsome Christian man, who treated her like no man ever had, and, he was crazy about her twins. Jamie had to admit she loved him, but how could she tell him that she didn't know who fathered her beautiful children. Would this wonderful moral man want nothing more to do with her if she told him about her past? But, how could she not tell him? She owed him that much.
