by George Hanabusa (Author)
Japanese culture demands a price for failure, one precluding a second chance to redeem oneself. Such societal pressure, Pastor Hanabusa explains, is a primary factor in the high Japanese suicide rates for all ages and in a mind-set that can encourage people to step on those who have been downed by failure. Japanese creativity is not only stifled but is extinguished in all too many instances. To this losers-need-not-apply world Second Chances Gospel brings the fresh air of Christian love as it is enunciated in the Bible. With thirty-one years of ministry in Japan and twenty in the United States, Pastor Hanabusa knows each county well and why both cultures desperately need God's healing love. Join Pastor George as he teaches us on both sides of the Pacific Ocean that God is more than big enough, kind enough and loving enough to redeem us all with many chances. With a ministry spanning the Pacific Ocean for half a century, Pastor George Hanabusa opens a unique window on Jesus' forgiving love and its universal call for redeeming Second Chances.
