PEER describes the Prison Experiment for Education and Rehabilitation. PEER is a for-prisoners, by-prisoners project that advances education and rehabilitative programming in prisons. While critics claim that prisoners are too broken to fix one another, PEER indicates otherwise through three distinct self-help and community service options for incarcerated readers.1.
