This book introduces the central issues of metaphysics and epistemology, from skepticism, justification, and perception to universals, personal identity, and free will. Jack S. Crumley II is Professor of Philosophy at the University of San Diego and author of An Introduction to Epistemology, second edition (Broadview Press, 2009) and A Brief Introduction to the Philosophy of Mind (Rowman & Littlefield, 2006).
