by Noona O'Riley (Author)
A collection of heartfelt and heartwarming poems, composed in the bardic tradition of speaking them into being-oral rather than written compositions, celebrating life and those living it in rural Rocky Mountain Colorado and elsewhere across the West. The first book by a popular and much loved community poet who lives, works, and creates her magic in the small and unconventional town of Crestone, Colorado, at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo mountains.
Author Biography
Noona O'Riley is a poet, visual artist, and fabric artist, living in the Sangre de Cristo mountains of southern Colorado. She inherited her love of poetry from her mother, Jean Young Brunk, an enthusiastic teacher of writing and literature. Her poems are shaped by listening to the sounds and cadence of the words; by the inner prompting to get it just right, to be as true as possible to the inspiration; and always to leave room for a happy accident.
