Product Description

DP to HDMI. 4K@60Hz. One Cable, Zero Adapters.

The FDBRO DisplayPort to HDMI Cable transmits a 4K@60Hz video and audio signal directly from any DisplayPort-equipped computer or GPU to any HDMI-input display - no adapter box required. Gold-plated connectors resist oxidation for stable, flicker-free signal transmission. Nylon braiding protects against interference and cable tangling. Supports HDR, VRR (variable refresh rate), and ALLM (auto low latency mode) for gaming and professional display use. Available in 3.3ft, 6.6ft, and 9.8ft lengths in single, 2-pack, 3-pack, and 5-pack quantities. Ships from the United States.

⚠️ Uni-directional: DP end connects to computer/GPU, HDMI end connects to display. This cable does NOT convert HDMI to DisplayPort. Reverse connection will produce no signal.

Key Features

  • 4K@60Hz output - Transmits 4K UHD (3840×2160) at 60Hz for smooth, ultra-sharp display output; also supports 1080p and 1920×1200 resolutions for standard and WUXGA monitors
  • Uni-directional: DisplayPort (source) → HDMI (display) - Signal flows one way only: DP end must connect to your computer, graphics card, or laptop; HDMI end connects to your monitor, TV, or projector; reverse connection will not transmit a signal
  • HDR support - Passes HDR metadata for compatible displays; works with HDR10 content on supported monitors and TVs for enhanced contrast and color range
  • VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) - Supports adaptive sync for tear-free gaming on compatible monitors; works with AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible displays via HDMI VRR
  • ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) - Automatically switches compatible displays to game mode for minimum input lag when a gaming signal is detected
  • Gold-plated connectors - Corrosion and oxidation resistant; maintains stable contact for consistent signal quality over years of use; reduces risk of screen flickering or black-screen dropouts
  • Nylon braided cable - Tangle-resistant, durable outer braid rated for repeated bending and routing; 6.0mm outer diameter for a premium feel without excessive stiffness
  • Synchronous audio transmission - Carries stereo or multi-channel audio alongside video on a single cable; no separate audio cable needed
  • Wide GPU compatibility - Works with NVIDIA RTX 30 series, RTX 40 series, AMD RX 6000 series, RX 7000 series, and any GPU with a standard DisplayPort 1.2+ output
  • Wide display compatibility - Compatible with Samsung, LG, Sony 8K/4K TVs, Dell, ASUS 4K monitors, and any display with a standard HDMI 2.0 input
  • Three lengths available - 3.3ft (1m) for tight desk setups, 6.6ft (2m) for standard desktop distances, 9.8ft (3m) for longer runs to wall-mounted TVs or projectors
  • Multi-pack options - Single, 2-pack, 3-pack, and 5-pack; ideal for office deployments, AV installations, and multi-monitor setups
  • CE certified
  • Ships from United States

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is this cable uni-directional and what does that mean?
DisplayPort and HDMI use different signaling protocols. A passive cable like this one can only convert the DP signal format to HDMI format - it cannot go the other direction. The physical electronics needed for signal conversion are passive and only work one way: DisplayPort out (from a GPU or computer) into HDMI in (on a monitor or TV). If you need to go from an HDMI source (like a laptop with only HDMI out) to a DisplayPort monitor, you need a different, active converter cable or adapter - not this cable. Always connect the DP end to your computer and the HDMI end to your display.

There is no signal after connecting - what should I check?
The most common cause is reversed connection - ensure the DisplayPort end is plugged into your computer/GPU and the HDMI end is plugged into your monitor or TV. Also confirm your GPU has a DisplayPort output (not just HDMI outputs) and your display has an HDMI input. After connecting, switch your monitor's input source to the correct HDMI port. If you still have no signal, try a different HDMI port on your display, restart your computer with the cable connected, or check your GPU driver settings to ensure the display is being detected. Some older GPUs may need the display connected before boot to detect it properly.

Does this cable support 4K at 60Hz or only 30Hz?
This cable supports 4K (3840×2160) at 60Hz - not just 30Hz. 4K@60Hz requires DisplayPort 1.2 or higher on the source and HDMI 2.0 or higher on the display. Most GPUs from the past 5+ years (NVIDIA GTX 10 series onward, AMD RX 400 series onward) support DP 1.2+ output, and most 4K monitors and TVs support HDMI 2.0 input. If your display only supports HDMI 1.4, it will be limited to 4K@30Hz regardless of the cable. Check your GPU and monitor specifications if you are unsure.

Does this cable carry audio as well as video?
Yes - the cable carries both video and audio simultaneously on a single cable. When connected to a display with built-in speakers or an audio system connected to your monitor's audio output, sound from your computer will pass through the cable to the display without any separate audio cable. This works for stereo audio. For multi-channel surround sound (5.1, 7.1), compatibility depends on your GPU's HDMI audio output capability and your display's audio decoding support.

Will this work for gaming with VRR and low latency?
Yes - this cable supports VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) for adaptive sync gaming, which eliminates screen tearing and stuttering on compatible monitors. It also supports ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), which signals compatible TVs and monitors to automatically switch to their lowest-latency game mode when a gaming signal is detected. GPU compatibility: NVIDIA RTX 30/40 series and AMD RX 6000/7000 series are confirmed compatible. Display VRR support depends on the monitor or TV's HDMI VRR implementation (AMD FreeSync over HDMI or NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible).

Which length should I choose?
The 3.3ft (1m) cable is ideal for desktop setups where your PC tower and monitor are within arm's reach - for example, a tower under a desk with the monitor directly on top. The 6.6ft (2m) cable covers most standard desk arrangements including desktop towers positioned to the side or slightly away from the monitor. The 9.8ft (3m) cable is suited for connecting a PC to a wall-mounted TV, projector installations, or setups where the computer is further from the display. For signal quality, shorter cables are always preferable, but all three lengths are rated for full 4K@60Hz performance.
