by Ann Reavis (Author)

A thrilling mystery set in the Renaissance City. An explosion rips through the Easter festival in front of the Duomo in Florence, Italy, but no one claims responsibility. The vicitms are not only Florentine, but also visitors from throughout the world. The security forces of Europe and the United States join together to hunt down the killers. Caterina Falcone, a Florentine investigator, and Max Turner, an agent from the U.S. Embassy, team up to find out why an American student was at the cathedral when the bomb exploded. Max hunts a bomb-maker who sows death around the globe. Inspector Falcone believes the identity of the perpetrator can be found close to home. Together they race across Tuscany to stop a killer before more people die.

Author Biography

Five years used to be Ann Reavis' attention span for any career. She's been a lawyer, a nurse, a presidential appointee in a federal agency, a tour guide and a freelance writer. She's lived in New Mexico, Texas, California (San Francisco Bay Area), Michigan and Washington, DC. Then she broke the pattern when she spent fifteen year in Florence, Italy, learning to be Italian. She published Italian Food Rules and Italian Life Rules to celebrate the experience. For now, she has settled back into life in Washington, DC, where she has turned her hand to mystries and thrillers set in Florence.
