Author Biography
Dr. Paul Looney is a psychiatrist in private practice, and a teaching pastor at the Woodlands Church. He is also an author and artist. With a name that fits his profession, the "Looney Doc" believes humor goes a long way toward thriving in adversity. Viewing trial and conflict as God's way of urging growth and transformation, Paul and his wife, Teri, love helping folks overcome challenges and find fresh possibilities for living and loving. A Texan by birth, Paul's earliest memories are of growing up in the Rockies, so he and Teri split their time between Texas and Colorado. They facilitate a couple's retreat called "One Flesh" through their ministry, Hidden Manna. They love being with their sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren.
