Author Biography
Ann Beardsley was a weather observer/forecaster for the Air National Guard in Texas, North Carolina, and Virginia for 12 years, and trained at the former Chanute Air Base in Rantoul, Illinois. Her husband, Elliott Walsh, is a private pilot with a lifelong interest in weather. (This makes birthdays and Christmas very easy.) They live in coastal Georgia where, like everywhere else, "if you don't like the weather, wait five minutes."
