Author Biography

Dr. John Hutton is a pediatrician and Director of the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Reading and Literacy Discovery Center. He is passionate about the power of books to bring grownups and children together to read, learn, and connect. Dr. V.G. Jain is a physician-scientist and a neonatologist. When not working in his lab trying to solve problems of prematurity, he loves writing books and songs about his NICU patients. Leah Busch is an artist from Cincinnati, OH. She has held numerous positions in the arts, won numerous awards including for her Toast to Baby children's book series, and taught extensively, and holds an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She is also the illustrator of Your Red Shoes, Calm Baby, Gently, and the best-selling Sleep Baby, Safe and Snug.
