Socialism is any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods or a system of society in which there is no private property.

There are three aspects of socialism described by Dr. Brown in this treatise which are contrary to Biblical principles. Socialism is based upon a materialistic world view alone. It penalizes diligence, sanctions stealing, and promotes envy.
