"When Everything Changed . . ." is a story set in the closing days of the frontier in Montana Territory. Daniel McHarg, a Canadian burdened by a tragic loss, went west to leave his sorrow behind and build a new life. Although he quickly finds himself immersed with characters and adventures that could only exist in the 19th Century American West, at its heart the story is about his love for a woman he met on a Missouri River steamboat and almost lost.
Author Biography
Tom Keith has long had an interest in history and is the author of A Few Days in August: A Story of Death and Survival in the Patwell Family during the Dakota Conflict of 1862, an account of events in which several members of his family were participants. When Everything Changed is his first work of fiction. Tom is a principal in a planning and design firm and lives in Fort Collins, Colorado.
