The lost joy of childhood is not. The happiness and fearlessness that a child deserves to experience is lost forever while adults settle their scores through the roaring bullets and bombs. Adult egos are not a sane enough reason to destroy the most precious jewel, childhood. This book depicts the turbulence in a child's mind when the war rages around her and takes away all that she has. There are millions of such children out there who deserve to live in peace.
