These fourteen stories have been forty years in the making. They form a companion volume to the Tales of the Forgotten God trilogy (The Beggar King, The Chameleon Lady, and The Everlasting Child) but are neither prequel nor sequel. These are parallel universes, both different and subtly familiar. The settings may be vaguely in the past, the present, the future, and even somewhere else outside of the timestream we know.
