The author bravely shares that she is a victim of sexual abuse, making a very big sacrifice in order to bless the reader with the message of healing. The straightforward opening will resonate with anyone who has experienced deep pain and wants to be free. The author has been so direct with her own experience that the reader is immediately aware that the content comes from a person who understands firsthand what he or she is suffering. The level of validity and credibility could not be higher. The author credits God for every phase of healing and her strengthened abilities in dealing with the past.
