I have been in love with the West for many years I fell in love with the westerns my father used to read I am 77 I am a vet. I lived in the mountains of Colorado for 12 years I experienced The Rock slides I experienced the snow storms and I lived in the eagle River valley where I talked to numerous residents who were original mountain people this is where the story comes from from listening to these elderly people at that time and the history of the eagle River valley.
From the desert of Arizona to the rugged mountains of Colorado comes a man, a man as tough as the mountains themselves. Driven by anger and his thirst for revenge, he holds the two men, Clay Stanford and Roman Kincaid, responsible for the death of his wife, and leaving him for dead. For The last six years, he has tracked them, to here, the rugged mountains of Colorado. He finds himself fighting not just the two men he is after, but his feelings for Morgan, the owner of the j bar ranch, who saved his life, and the ruggedness of the mountains themselves.
