Sasha is always being warned about wolves - they're cruel and dangerous, especially when hungry. But then he gets lost in the snow...and a little wolfcub roams too far from his pack. Both must forget the warnings if they are to survive a snowy Russian winter. The two form a lasting friendship and prove to both their families that wolves and humans 'can' live together, without fear...and with fun!
