We all dream of getting a second chance at something. Mine will never happen, that second chance of getting back on the sidelines again is impossible. Being diagnosed with Young-Onset Parkinson's took that away. What it didn't take away is having a life. Here is where my second chance can come, that being of still having a life. With your guidance along the way, One Lasting Tribute has been remade, still telling the story, but in a brand-new special edition.
As it says a Quest for the Ultimate Victory. Here begins my second chance, to fulfill a dream, one that started on a basketball court. Now a dream has turned into having a real life and being able to do anything I want, whenever I want. The struggle has been difficult, 15 years in the making. Will now take the ball in my hands and run the point one more time. With no uniforms, no scoreboards, no time limit. This game will Carry On and will become My Time. There is one more victory left until that day when a son can tell a father, We Won!!!
