This book is an invitation to explore and further understand the many facets that make game-based approaches a truly interesting and effective tool to teach and train in the 21st century. It includes seven chapters with content initially presented at the 7th Irish Conference on Game-Based Learning, a conference held in Cork in June 2017, where researchers, practitioners, students and other stakeholders met and shared their interest in games and education.
