This handbook is about making presentations to groups, irrespective of the content or purpose of the presentation. This is because the principles of effective presentations remain the same, regardless of the content. Needless to say this is not about spinning a yarn. Deception can't be sustained and damages the deceiver far more than the deceived. Sincerity is essential to success but with sincerity must come the skill to enable people to see the benefit for themselves. As they say everyone listens to one FM station - WiiFM (What's in it FOR ME?). It is your job as a presenter to show this to your audience. Show them what is in your idea for them and you'll have them on your side.
