This book both introduces the philosophy of science through examination of the occult and examines the occult rigorously enough to raise central issues in the philosophy of science. Author Biography
Patrick Grim is Associate Professor of Philosophy at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He has coedited eleven volumes of The Philosopher's Annual and has published a number of articles on logic and contemporary metaphysics, philosophy of religion, and ethics.
