Sam and Adam just have to deliver a bag, no questions asked. But they take a little side trip to cheer Sam up, and things get complicated.
Angel Flanagan's debut novel grinds over the back streets and country roads of Digby, Nova Scotia, with gold-hearted strippers, implacable enforcers, a cop with a bent badge, and a guy who likes to watch things burn dodging and tangling with each other as they all try to find that damn bag.
A gripping tale told with a down-home Nova Scotia flare. Mixed with a healthy dose of sex and drugs, the story will keep you hooked until the end. It's a fun read and a great debut novel.
