The sacrifices of the Old Testament were not merely obscure rites of some ancient Hebrew tribes. Rather, the offerings of the Law of Moses were designed by God to depict and teach about the coming Christ. They foreshadowed the greatest subject of all time: the redemption of humanity by the sacrifice of the Lamb of God. The object of this book is not to become wrapped up in a study of the Old Testament sacrifices, but rather to become immersed in Christ and what he has accomplished for us.
