In the prime of her life, now with a husband, a daughter, and a fulfilling career, Emily receives an unexpected phone call from the adoption agency. The adoption agency has a letter from her birth mother, which they can release to Emily without the identifying information. After receiving the letter Emily struggles about what to do.
"Hope for a better life" is based on the author's miraculous adoption story. It is an inspiring and joyous reminder that God can turn all things for the good. Sometimes even life's most challenging situations can lead to blessings.
