Catherine Marenghi is the author of "Glad Farm: A Memoir." She is also a poet and the author of two nonfiction works. A native of Massachusetts, she writes with a profound sense of place and a fascination with the power of homes and family bonds in shaping our destinies. Her writing combines the keen eye of a journalist with a poet's sensibility. She divides her time between New England and Mexico.
