The poems showcase the author's mastery of the English language. In "Shooting Star," he writes: When a little spark from the night sky / Plummets from the canopy of stars above, / Somewhere, someplace, / A being of light has been born. / So make certain you light a candle, / And make a heartfelt wish / That it never be touched by the darkness / Of what it's like to feel completely alone / In a world void / Of both heartfelt light and heaven.
