PRODUKTBESCHREIBUNG
Professional Nail Gel Tips (L-Stiletto)
The boldest shape in DNKa's Gel Tips line — a long, tapered stiletto point, built on the same thin, flexible gel-based construction that keeps the rest of the collection quick to apply and comfortable to wear.
Why Techs Reach for These
- Fast, reliable extension process, significantly quicker than sculpting from scratch
- Thin but strong, flexible enough to move naturally with the nail
- Withstands daily wear without losing shape
- Easy to file and re-length, though the sharp point requires more careful shaping than rounder shapes
What's in the Set
240 pieces total, covering 12 sizes in the L-Stiletto shape, so a full range of nail widths is covered from a single set. L-Stiletto specifically means a long, dramatically tapered point — the most extreme shape in DNKa's four-shape lineup.
How to Apply
- Standard nail prep — remove any previous coating, buff the surface, complete the manicure
- Apply a degreaser to the buffed nail, then a primer for adhesion
- Apply a base coat across the whole natural nail, cure 60 seconds under LED
- Select the correct tip size, apply base coat to the tip's contact area, cure 60 seconds under LED
- Fix the tip in place — a mini lamp or flashlight lamp works well for convenient positioning
- Cure in a 36/48W hybrid lamp for 1–2 minutes
- Remove the step at the cuticle area with a drill or file, seal the join with a base layer
- Cure the leveling layer — 2–3 minutes UV or 60 seconds LED
- Shape the nail with a file, no more than 180 grit
- Reinforce the tip before color with DNKa Liquid Acrylgel, DNKa Builder Gel, or another gel/acrylgel of choice
Also available in Almond, Oval, and Square shapes, for clients who want a softer silhouette instead. Works alongside DNKa's Builder Gel and Cover Base ranges.
FAQ
Is L-Stiletto a good choice for clients new to long extensions?
It's the most dramatic shape in the lineup, so it suits clients who specifically want a long, pointed look rather than a first-time extension choice — a softer shape like Almond or Oval is usually more forgiving to start with.
Do the tips need reinforcement before adding color?
Yes, reinforcing with a builder gel, liquid acrylgel, or similar product is recommended before applying the color coating, and matters even more with a longer, more exposed shape like this one.
