Larry L. Schumaker is Stevenson Professor of Mathematics at Vanderbilt University.

Paul Sablonniere is director of Laboratoire Logiciel, Analyse Numerique et Statistiques Institut National des Sciences Appliquees (Rennes, France).

Pierre-Jean Laurent is professor of mathematics at Laboratoire de Modelisation et Calcul Universite Joseph Fourier (Grenoble, France).
