0–80 V Testing Range
Supports 6 V, 12 V, 24 V, 36 V, 48 V, 60 V, and 72 V automotive and motorcycle batteries. Compatible battery types include standard lead-acid, AGM flat plate, AGM spiral, GEL, and EFB batteries.

The AUTOOL BT960 uses conductance testing technology to measure an automotive starting battery's actual cold-cranking capacity and assess its health. It also helps identify common starting-system and charging-system faults, allowing technicians to locate problems and complete vehicle repairs more efficiently.

Supports 6 V, 12 V, 24 V, 36 V, 48 V, 60 V, and 72 V automotive and motorcycle batteries. Compatible battery types include standard lead-acid, AGM flat plate, AGM spiral, GEL, and EFB batteries.

Tests lithium iron phosphate, lithium polymer, ternary lithium, and other battery types. The measured current is displayed after the test is completed.

Monitors changes in current to detect small electrical leaks, helping locate parasitic drain problems that can shorten battery life.

Print test results directly from the tester. Report settings can include the license plate number, date, and serial number.

Reverse-polarity protection and insulated test clamps help protect both the tester and battery if the positive and negative terminals are connected incorrectly.

The AUTOOL BT960 is a battery system tester for evaluating compatible lead-acid and lithium batteries. It provides battery, cranking, charging, load, and leakage-monitoring functions, with a 0-80V voltage measurement range and a built-in thermal printer for recording results.
Read the manual before use and select the correct battery chemistry, voltage, and test standard. Connect clamps with the ignition off unless the relevant test procedure says otherwise. Keep clamps clear of moving belts, fans, and hot engine parts. Do not test damaged, leaking, or frozen batteries. Battery testing involves electrical and chemical hazards; use eye protection and follow the vehicle manufacturer's procedures.
Can this test lithium batteries?
Yes. Lithium battery testing is listed among the BT960 functions. Verify the battery's voltage and chemistry before testing.
Does it test the charging system?
Yes. Charging and cranking tests are listed functions, in addition to battery and load testing.
Are batteries included for the tester?
No. The product information states that batteries are not included. The tester can use four AAA batteries or Type-C 5V/1A power.
Can I print my results?
Yes. The BT960 includes a built-in thermal printer and printing paper is listed in the package contents.
