Author Biography
Rochelle is a dog breeder who established Spring Creek Labradoodles in 2001, in the beautiful Willamette Valley of Oregon. She began one of the first Labradoodle breeding programs in the U.S., long before the majority of the population had ever heard the word "Labradoodle". She's bred both Australian Labradoodles, developed American lines to contribute genetic diversity to the Australian lines, and bred early generations of Goldendoodles. She has served on the board of the Australian Labradoodle Association of America, helping to establish guidelines for quality breeding practices and breed development goals. Rochelle's focus and emphasis in her breeding program is for service and therapy potential, and her dogs serve in many roles, including seeing eye dogs, wheelchair assistance, blood sugar alert, seizure alert, emotional support for children testifying in court, working with those with PTSD, and many other general therapy areas with children and adults. Her dogs are in pet homes and breeding programs around the world. She desires to educate pet families and those looking to breed Labradoodles or Goldendoodles, and has shared her experience and information with both since her early years of breeding.
