Author Sandra C. Thurman felt her heartstrings pulled toward a story about God, country, and family in a small town setting. Having grown up in a small town, she understands the feelings of the town's people. ===================================== Lilyan Hanberry West draws and paints in North Georgia. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Art Education from the University of Georgia Lamar Dodd School of Art. She and her husband, Jeff, have two adult sons and enjoy walking, reading, gardening, and travel.
